WOMEN AT THE WELL

A safe place for women to develop intimacy with God through Jesus Christ.

Where do we turn to find trustworthy direction for meeting God, for allowing Him to be real enough to fill our emptiness and empower our everyday lives?

The Well offers a safe place for women to develop intimacy with God through Jesus Christ. A connection point for women to experience and sustain authentic lives of worship in every day living. Learning together to live from the inside out.

Our Purpose:
To give Women a safe place to worship, to drink in His presence, to listen, to share, to learn, to grow, to pray. A place for them to experience His Love, His forgiveness, His Cleansing power, His freedom and send them away from the Well with much zeal, so they can go Tell the Good News!

The Well uses the truth of God Word to communicate God's love and truth. "The Truth Will Set You Free". We don't judge or condemn, WE LOVE!

Our Goal:

  • To encourage women to listen, recognize His voice and to walk in obedience. To cheer women on to be all God has called them to be. To create an atmosphere of safety, love and care allowing women to be absolutely themselves.
  • Worship is a vital part of our time together. We drink from His sweet presence, exercise our "listening" skills and give time for one another. A scripture, a new song or picture may be shared at this time.
  • We seek answers from His Word to help us as women in our daily lives which in turn gives us keys to fulfill our dreams.
  • We fellowship together.
  • We pray for each other as the need arises.

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans)

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."

"Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?"

Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4: 7 - 14

He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. John 7:38
